Because every custom order starts with your idea, no two dolls are ever the same.
Step 2: Confirm the Details
Next, we confirm the final details together.
Therefore, colours, features, and special touches are agreed on in advance.
This step helps ensure that your doll matches your vision.
Step 3: Place Your Order
Once the details are confirmed, you place your order.
After that, your spot in the creation queue is secured.
As a result, your custom doll officially moves forward.
Step 4: I Crochet the Magic

The Yarns We Use at Kholo Crafts
At Kholo Crafts, the magic starts long before the first stitch — it begins with the yarn. I’m a firm believer that a crochet doll is only as good as the material it’s made from, which is why I treat yarn shopping like a very serious mission. (Imagine me standing in the yarn aisle whispering, “Are you the one?”) Dramatic? Perhaps. Necessary? Absolutely.
All the yarns…
One of my top choices is Stylecraft Special DK. This yarn is so soft and reliable it feels like the overachiever in the class who always hands in assignments early and colour-coordinated. It behaves beautifully, holds shape perfectly, and gives each doll a neat, polished finish — no attitude, no tangles, just pure cooperation.
Then there’s Coffee Cotton yarn — no, it doesn’t smell like a latte, and yes, I’m deeply disappointed. But what it does have is a gorgeous natural texture and soft feel that makes dolls look wonderfully cozy. It’s the kind of yarn that makes you want to say, “Awww,” even before you’ve crocheted anything with it.
For extra softness — the type that makes you double-check if you’re holding yarn or a baby cloud — I reach for Milk Cotton yarn. Dolls made with this yarn tend to be extra huggable, extra squishable, and extra likely to make you declare, “This one’s mine,” before remembering you intended it as a gift.
